Dejan Škundrić

Dejan already knew at 6 years old that he wanted to become a famous accordionist one day and he started playing at exactly that age. When he was only seven years old, he took part in a competition for the first time and won first place in all the existing categories. From that moment on, he found himself with heart and soul in this idea in which the music world, his accordion and himself were one. Dejan is currently a student at the University of Arts in Bern doing his Masters Pedagogy. So far he has gathered a lot of experience with children with disabilities and would like to dedicate his knowledge to them. The Empathy Arts Foundation awarded Dejan with a supporting donation to help him to finish his studies, to participate and practice for concerts and to help him to dedicate himself to help children with disabilities to study the accordion.
